Custom Designing

If you have a show, parade, party or any other occasion that calls for a unique outfit, please contact us with your ideas for a dream costume and we will come up with a unique design just for you (and your pet or horse).

To help us serve you as efficiently as possible, when contacting us regarding a custom design, please include as many of the following details regarding your dream costume:

~ Breed & Size of Pet or Horse
~ Girth, Neck & Topline measurements for dogs
~ Body blanket and/or breastplate size for horses if inquiring about custom barding
~ As much detail as you can provide regarding the design you have in mind
~ Color(s)
~ Any specific type of materials you prefer
~ Any other relevant information such as the Show or Contest Date that this costume will be for.

With custom inquiries, we sometimes need to research material costs before being able to provide you with a cost estimate for the project. Therefore, the more details you can provide us with your initial contact, the the more efficiently we will be able to serve you.

Although we are often able to do rush orders, the more time you provide us to work with, the better. Just contact us using our online contact form with your ideas and we will get back to you with at least 2 or 3 viable options and variations.

Below are some examples of custom designs we have done:

	Fallen Angel Costume specially designed for a little Yorkie to match Mom and Dad who were attending a Halloween function dressed as Fallen Angels.
	Colonial Patriot Ensemble with white ruffle blouse, navy vest, navy knee breeches, white cravat & tricorne hat complete with feather.

We are often asked to design something for which customers have a vague idea as to what they want.

		We received a Swiss Style Dress for 2 Bernese Mountain dogs and the customer showed us an image of the type of ribbon trim she envisioned for the dresses. After researching various styles of Swiss dresses, we created the following sketches from which our customer could choose elements or specify certain elements. The final design (4th picture) was a combination of design features from the 3 options: a dark blue corduroy bodice, yellow insert, mock suede laces, black skirt, white apron, and authentic Edelweiss Swiss ribbon trim.

Following is Parade Ensemble in Crushed Panne Velvet designed for a horse to match her rider's dress.
