What are Service Options and why do you charge an Expedited Service Fee?
The standard processing time for us to make a custom garment is 10-14 days, as the process involves several steps which can be quite time-consuming. For each custom garment order we receive, we must draft or re-size patterns in order to fit your pet prior to sewing it, which also involves several steps.
Orders are made in the sequence in which they are received. If you are in a rush and need us to make your garment faster, we charge an Expedited Fee to move your order up ahead of other customers' orders in order to complete it by the required deadline. The Expedited Service Fee is to compensate for the need to re-arrange our production schedule, the overtime hours required to produce and ship the expedited items by the required deadline, and still turn out our other Standard Service orders in a timely fashion. We recommend that you place your order as early as possible to avoid stress and Expedited Service and Shipping fees.

How soon will I receive my order?
Ready-made items are shipped out within 2 business days. Standard processing time for custom orders is 10-14 days unless you select an Expedited Service option when placing the item in your shopping cart. Standard Shipping, via USPS Priority Mail, typically takes 2-4 business days, and Express Shipping takes 2 business days to most areas.

Can you rush an order to me?
This depends on several factors: The item you are ordering, the nature of the urgency, the time we receive your order, and if it is a custom item or ready-made item. Ready-made items are shipped within 2 business days of the order. Custom items can be rushed for an additional Expedited Service fee. Please refer to our Expedited Services page for details.

How can I check my order status?
You will receive an order status update email at the time your order is processed for shipment. To make sure you receive your order status emails, please add our customer service address to your email address book:
You can also log into your account, and click on the "My Account" link once you are logged in to check your order status. Remember, if you ordered a custom item with the standard service time, it can take 8-10 days before your order ships.

Can I track my order once it has shipped?
If you selected Standard Shipping (Priority Mail), you most likely will not be able to track your order as you would an Express Mail package. Some USPS employees will scan non-Express Mail packages upon acceptance or arrival at a facility, but only upon delivery; however, most USPS employees do not do this as it is not required by USPS. In most cases, you will probably see a message saying "USPS has been notified by the sender to expect your package for mailing soon", and their system may not show any information until after the package has been delivered.
You can track your order's delivery status by logging into your account, selecting the order you wish to track by clicking on the "View" button next to its entry, and clicking on the tracking number link near the bottom under the "Shipped" status entry.

Can I come to our store to see or buy your products?
We do not have a brick-and-mortar store at which to receive customers. All of our currently available items for sale are published here on our site for purchase. Detailed descriptions and pictures are posted with each product listing.

What is the difference between a "Partial Bodice Dog Dress" and a "Full Bodice Dog Dress"?
A Partial Bodice Dog Dress has the more common, simpler form of bodice seen on most dog clothing. This type of garment fastens at the girth (around the ribcage) and neck with hook & loop (velcro) closures straps. It has a sparser appearance as it does not cover the dog's whole torso. Partial Bodice Dog Dresses require fewer measurements: only Neck, Girth, Topline (Length), and Across the Chest.
Full Bodice Dog Dresses are more like human clothing with a complete bodice that covers the entire torso. Full bodice dog dresses are good for portraits that show the front of the dog and lend a more elegant and formal appearance. This type of garment requires mroe measurements than the Partial Bodice Dresses for optimal fit.
